Amoxi-Tabs (amoxicillin) is a semi-synthetic antibiotic with a broad spectrum of activity. It provides bactericidal activity against a wide range of common gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens. They are indicated for the treatment of dogs and cats for respiratory tract infections, cystitis, gastrointestinal tract infections, bacterial dermatitis or soft tissue infections.
*Sold per tablet in strengths of : 50 mg, 100mg, 150 mg, 200 mg or 400 mg.

What are the side effects of Amoxi-Tabs (Amoxicillin) for Dogs & Cats?
Adverse Reactions. Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic penicillin and has the potential for producing allergic reactions. If an allergic reaction occurs, administer epinephrine and/or steroids. Amoxicillin may cause stomach upset, vomiting, and diarrhea. If stomach upset occurs, give the medicine to your pet with some food. These symptoms may go away during treatment. If they persist, contact your Veterinarian.
What special precautions are there?
Keep away from children and animals. For use in dogs and cats only. The use of this drug is contraindicated in animals with a history of an allergic reaction to penicillin.

How can I store Amoxi-Tabs (Amoxicillin) for Dogs & Cats?
Keep in a cool/dry place. Do Not Store at Temperatures Above 25°C (77°F)

Use as directed by your Veterinarian
Dosage and Administration :
Dogs: The recommended dosage is 5 mg/lb of body weight twice a day.
Cats: The recommended dosage is 50 mg (5-10 mg/lb) once a day.
Dosage should be continued for 5-7 days or 48 hours after all symptoms have subsided. If no improvement is seen in 5 days, review diagnosis and change therapy.
